Cable "Two Continents" Gtd Spain
At Gtd we know how important submarine fiber optic technology is to overcome natural barriers, connect historically isolated territories and bring technology closer to all places. In this sense, in Spain we have deployed a double submarine cable, called "II Continents", which connects the Peninsula from Tarifa and La Línea with Ceuta.
Our objective with this submarine deployment is to strengthen communications, making the autonomous city of Ceuta the strategic point where all the possible services that the telecommunications market can offer today will be concentrated.
Through the implementation of our project, this system will contribute to the socioeconomic development of the Autonomous City of Ceuta and the province of Cadiz, by facilitating access for its citizens and companies to all current and future telecommunications services, also improving the access to these systems from other points in Andalusia and the peninsula through additional land connections.
